T-Mobile has been shaking the wireless industry up, so it’s not surprising that while AT&T slows their spending T-Mobile is moving full-speed ahead. “Right now T-Mobile is continuing to spend and continuing to build out their network, so they’re as busy as ever,” Blair Bode, Vice President at recruiting specialist Kineticom, told RCR Wireless. It’s been reported that AT&T has slowed spending on their network build out while working for their merger with DirecTV to go through. T-Mobile isn’t the only one working hard to enhance their networks. Wells Fargo Senior Analyst, Jennifer Fritzsche, attended the Small Cell Symposium and said that Verizon has been busier than anyone when it comes to condensing their network with DAS and small cells. Verizon’s year-to-date capital expenditures total $8.45 billion, and the carrier is forecasting total spending of $16.5 billion to $17.0 billion for the full year.
