The College Football Championship will take place tonight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where the carrier will try out their LTE Broadcast technology. This technology, also known as Multicast LTE, uses spectrum to broadcast content to nearby compatible devices, which will improve bandwidth efficiency and target content delivery within a specific place, during a specific time period. This trial comes one year after Verizon debuted their LTE Multicast technology at the 2014 Super Bowl.
