The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, broadcast tower that has transmitted signals since the mid-1950s will be completely dismantled by the end of next month. This historic structure was at one time, the tallest man-made structure in the world, as it stand 1,600 feet. This is 300 feet taller than the Empire State Building. The tower is being dismantled because it hasn’t transmitted anything for about five years, because of conversion from analog to digital.
