SoftBank Downsize Marks T-Mo End

Japan’s SoftBank will soon downsize the Silicon Valley office signaling the company won’t revive efforts to buy T-Mobile, Reuters reported. While SoftBank subsidiary Sprint dropped the bid to acquire T-Mobile in August, future consolation was not ruled out. However, now SoftBank is transferring most of its man power out of the West Coast office including dispersing development engineers to Sprint headquarters in Kansas.
