Wireless Supply announced the launch of a new Public Safety product line yesterday, named TruePath. The flagship product is the Wireless Supply TruePath Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and is joined by a complete TruePath BDA kit.

The TruePath BDA product line is designed as a cost-effective solution for public safety in-building coverage. TruePath is available in several configurations, including ½ Watt and 2 Watt, Class A or Class B, single-band 700 or 800 MHz, or dual-band 700 and 800 MHz. The units can be either powered by AC or DC power.

In addition to the new BDA offering, Wireless Supply also offers a fully installed headend kit that comes complete with the BDA, battery backup unit, annunciator panel, system document box, and wired alarm junction boxes to facilitate ease of installation of the headend system for public safety in-building coverage solutions. The TruePath line of products was introduced last week at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas, NV.

According to Vice President and General Manager Jeff Hall, “First responders must be able to communicate inside buildings during an event, and we felt it was necessary to offer the industry a complete solution first responders, building owners and integrators could rely on for communications.” Hall further stated, “with the introduction of TruePath, Wireless Supply now offers all the pieces to the puzzle for a complete public safety communications solution.”

Wireless Supply is a manufacturer of components for public safety and commercial iDAS, oDAS, and small cell systems. It specializes in active and passive components including the BDA, RF and fiber cable, antennas, and other products to support the growing demands of first responders, building owners, wireless operators, system integrators, VARs, and distribution partners.
