Aluma Tower Achieves ISO Certification

Aluma Tower, a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of tower, trailer/shelter systems, has received ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001:2008 certification for all its United States operations. The company’s quality management system was assessed by National Quality Assurance, The Premier Management System Registrar accredited by ANAB. ISO 9001:2008 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. Accepted worldwide as the standard that defines quality, ISO 9001:2008 provides the necessary framework to improve company efficiency, minimize risk and maximize opportunity. “Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team members,” said Steve Ellingworth, Vice President of Quality. “Attaining this certification speaks to our commitment to increase internal process disciplines and make certain Aluma Tower systems and customer support remain tantamount with quality.” ISO 9001 is an International Quality Management System Standard that specifies requirements within which an organization demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product or service to meet customer and legal requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and opening the way to continual improvement. The requirements are intended to be applicable to all organizations, regardless of type, size or product/service provided. Globally more than one million organizations have implemented ISO 9001 Management Systems (50,000 organizations in North America).
