CTIA, the wireless industry association, said yesterday that Steve Vondran, American Tower Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Tower Division, has joined the association’s board of directors effective immediately.
CTIA President/CEO Meredith Attwell Baker says Vondran joins the board at a “pivotal” time for wireless infrastructure. “We look forward to working with Steve and American Tower as our industry begins the transition to next-generation 5G wireless networks.”
Vondran joined American Tower in 2000 as a member of the corporate legal team and held a variety of positions until August 2004 when he was appointed Senior Vice President for U.S. Leasing Operations. In August 2010, he was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel for the U.S. Tower Division and transitioned in 2018 to his current position as Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Tower Division.
