If there’s a problem occurring with one of the networks on your tower, it may be due to antenna misalignment, which can happen when any physical object interferes with and prevents proper radio frequency propagation. Sunsight Instruments, an industry leader in the development and manufacturing of antenna alignment sensors, monitoring systems and tools, explains that, “ Large structures and natural features such as mountains, valleys and trees can dramatically interfere with an RF signal. Even the most minor misalignment can cause entire network sectors to drop – and that leads to customer complaints and lost business. You need precise, non-relative and absolutely traceable alignment data in order to effectively troubleshoot an antenna alignment issue. Antenna alignment is a constant concern, and can be a difficult process from the initial installation of the antenna and throughout the life of the antenna or antenna array.”
