APC Towers: Collocation Project Manager

Job Functions

  • Manage the collocation process across all existing tower assets in the U.S. portfolio
    • Includes processing collocation applications, providing supporting documents, working across multiple carrier databases, coordinating with A&E/zoning/construction teams as needed to ensure seamless collocations for wireless carriers
  • Forecast and manage project schedules
    • Plan and anticipate when required due diligence needs to be ordered and completed
    • Update project tracking tools daily – ensuring they are accurate and timely
  • Oversee vendors across multiple projects and geographical regions
    • Ensure milestones are completed on time
    • Evaluate vendor pricing and proposals
  • Resolve and overcome obstacles to project progress
  • Maintain site files and accurate closeout documentation
  • Report progress accurately to senior management on a weekly basis
  • Interact with the customers (wireless carriers) to negotiate contracts, coordinate design, facilitate installation and manage documentation
  • Know, understand, and implement all company policies and procedures
    • Ensure vendor compliance
  • Liaison between legal teams to ensure proper contracts are executed across all projects
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of how to lease, permit, and build a telecommunication site
    • Must understand all phases of site development including construction
  • Have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the wireless infrastructure industry
    • Involved in multiple facets of building telecommunication sites
    • Managed sites located in multiple geographic areas
    • Background that combines wireless experience as well as title/real estate/construction experience is preferred
  • College degree preferred, otherwise relevant and significant work experience may qualify
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Solid computer skills including MS office software and other online mapping programs
  • Motivated to work hard and take on a variety of work at a start-up company
    • Able to work extended hours as needed
  • Able to sit at a desk for extended periods and walk across rough terrain around wireless towers
  • Able to work in Raleigh, NC area
  • Able to sign a non-compete and confidentiality agreement
