Some AT&T customers were without wireless service last week in Topeka, Kansas, after a fiber optic cable in the area was cut. Several tower sites were affected by the cable damage, but service was restored later that same evening. AT&T apologized for the issue, and had technicians working as quickly as possible to fix the damage. It wasn’t reported how the cable was damaged.
