Zacks Equity Research projects “events are shaping up quite nicely” for one of the world’s biggest towercos. Zacks cited that AMT’s earnings activity, as of late, has been positive and is a strong indicator there will be a continued uptick in that category. “Analysts raising estimates right before earnings, with the most up-to-date information possible, is a pretty good indicator of some favorable trends underneath the surface for AMT in this report,” Zacks said in a preview report.

AMT has beaten FFO and revenue estimates every quarter for the past 12 months.

Analysts have very recently raised their estimates for AMT from $2.34 to $2.38 per share, giving AMT a Zacks Earnings ESP of +1.67 percent heading into earnings season.

Seeking Alpha reported the consensus FFO Estimate is $2.30 and the consensus Revenue Estimate is $2.22B (+16.2 percent Y/Y) with an adjusted EBITDA estimate of $1.43B. FFO estimates have seen four upward revisions over the last quarter alone, according to Seeking Alpha, and one downward, while revenue has seen 12 upward revisions and four downward.
