CCA’s Mobile Carriers Show to Focus on 5G, IoT, Rural Broadband Deployment

Competitive Carriers Association’s (CCA) 2018 Mobile Carriers Show (MCS) heads to Las Vegas next week with a focus on 5G, IoT, infrastructure, the customer experience, and rural broadband deployment. MCS will take place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, March 27-29, 2018.

The keynote program, on March 29, will feature remarks from FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn; John Smee, VP of Engineering for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.; and Peter Lord, vice president, Strategic Initiatives, Oracle who will share updates and insight on pressing competitive policies, technology innovations and business development opportunities for the competitive carrier ecosystem. All keynote sessions will be live streamed by CCA’s broadcast partner, RCR Wireless here.  

New this year, MCS will feature the Pitch Perfect Keynote: Revenue Generating Ideas and Solutions for Carriers at a luncheon on Wednesday, March 28, from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. PT. Six sponsoring companies will participate in the competition and will have six minutes to present their solution that will increase revenue for carriers, provide superior customer service, and grow customer loyalty. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the presenting companies in the exhibit hall and the audience will select the MCS Best in Show. The winner will be announced during keynote programming on March 29.  Speakers include:

  • Amy McCune, head of Customer Unit Regional Carriers, Ericsson North America
  • Andi Reinhard, director of Technical Solutions for Wireless Infrastructure, ZTE
  • Mark Landiak, president & founder, Corporate Dynamics Inc.
  • Griff Griffin, technical operations manager, West Central Wireless (sponsored by Nokia)
  • Tom Dowding, SVP of Sales, Huawei Technologies USA, Inc.
  • John Dwyer, president & CEO, Interop Technologies
