Cheytec Telecommunications, a company offering in-building cellular and wireless connectivity solutions, recently announced a new partnership with SQUAN, a DAS systems integrator.  The program is called “Accelerate,” under which Cheytec licenses small cell radio and signal source equipment to end-users for use in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and other in-building cellular solutions.

“SQUAN, with its successful history, focused expertise, and active pipeline of indoor wireless projects, is a good fit for Cheytec as we continue to develop and add to our partner channel for these unique products and services,” said Cheytec’s Regional Vice President, Ed Myers.

The agreement comes as the in-building wireless industry is shifting from traditional “carrier funded” projects to building owner-funded and revenue generation models. The “Accelerate” program enables property owners and enterprises to access the same in-building wireless equipment the carriers use as part of an overall technology investment.

“Partnering with Cheytec gives SQUAN the ability to offer truly end-to-end wireless coverage solutions for our enterprise clients,” said David Rundella, SQUAN’s General Manager – DAS.
