Climber Dies in 140-foot Fall in Washington State

Snohomish County Fire District reported a man fell to his death Saturday afternoon while working on a cell tower near Arlington, WA, according to HeraldNet. The accident occurred just after 1:30 p.m. The tower is located at the 11000 block of 228th Street NE, in Arlington. Snohomish County Fire District 21 emergency responders were on the scene shortly after the fall was reported. The medics attempted CPR, but fire department officials were unsuccessful in reviving the man said to be around 30 years old. 

Fire Chief Chad Schmidt told the Herald.Net he believed the fall was due to an accident. The Chief had no other information on what company the man was working for or if there were other workers on site.
