The Connectivity Expo announced details regarding the new mobile technologies and wireless infrastructure solutions that will be featured inside the inaugural event’s Exhibition Hall, which will be open on May 22-23 in Charlotte, N.C.

Attendees at Connect (X) will have access to the latest hardware and software that are driving the deployment of mobile communications networks around the world. Major companies from all parts of the wireless ecosystem will be in the Exhibition Hall to show off the services and products that the wireless industry relies on to design, deploy and maintain the most advanced mobile communications networks.

“The Exhibition Hall at Connect (X) will showcase the future of mobile communications by connecting attendees directly with the technologies and services that are leading the wireless industry’s march to 5G connectivity,” said Tim Downs, Executive Producer of the Connectivity Expo. “Attendees and the media will see how the world of mobile communications is changing how people live and work in a very real and meaningful way.”

Connect (X) is designed to serve all elements of the expanding and evolving connectivity ecosystem – from the macro structures that stand high above the ground and the miles and miles of fiber networks below the ground to the 5G technology driving the ongoing network densification in our cities and the technology embedded in our cars.

Programming at Connect (X) will include Smart Cities and Connected Communities, Macro Cell: Towers and Edge Infrastructure, Private LTE Networks, Connected Real Estate, V2i (or Vehicle to Infrastructure), Critical LTE Communications, Innovations in Infrastructure, and Workforce Diversity. For more details on each of these programming tracks, go to www.connectityexpo.com/conference.

WIA also will host the third annual Supplier Diversity Summit at Connect (X). The Supplier Diversity Summit aims at connecting qualified veteran-, woman- and minority-owned businesses with procurement officials from major wireless companies including Verizon, American Tower, Crown Castle, InSite Wireless SBA Communications, Tessco, and T-Mobile.

Registered participants will be able to access an online meeting scheduling portal to connect with representatives from major telecommunications companies to set up exclusive meetings at the Supplier Diversity Summit.
