As the mobile industry continues to expand, consumers expect not only their smartphones and devices to wirelessly connect, but also their cars, home security systems, appliances, wearables and more.  In the dynamic world of the Internet of Things (IoT), our lives are more connected than ever before, and carriers play a key role in ensuring consumers remain connected.  Join discussions on important industry trends, including IoT and 5G, as competitive carriers and experts in the technology, infrastructure, media and regulatory fields meet at Competitive Carriers Association’s (“CCA”) 2018 Mobile Carriers Show (“MCS”), March 27-29 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

New to the MCS keynote program this year, top industry thought leaders will share insight into products and services that can help carriers generate revenue and maintain customer loyalty.  Presenters will share actionable ideas and solutions that carriers can implement into their business plans immediately to help maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.  Keynote speakers include companies such as Corporate Dynamics, Inc.; Ericsson; Huawei; Interop Technologies; Nokia and ZTE.

The conference program on Thursday, March 29 will feature speakers representing the carrier, technology and regulatory sectors.  Sessions will explore the latest trends and topics including 5G and IoT; the business case for fixed wireless; connecting with customers through messaging; front-line retail experiences and best practices; and small cell deployment.  CCA also will take a deep dive into the most pressing policy issues affecting competitive carriers including access to spectrum, broadband infrastructure deployment, and Universal Service Fund/Mobility Fund II, among others.

Speakers throughout the show will examine policies, business challenges and opportunities facing competitive carriers as the desire for all things mobile continues to grow.  Attendees will gain actionable intelligence and insight into smart strategies for maximizing opportunities as carriers embrace and plan for IoT services.

The show floor again will feature industry innovators showcasing the latest technologies and services.  Technology vendors, infrastructure and backhaul providers, device manufacturers, network densification and traffic management services, accessories providers and more will display offerings and services focused on the North American competitive carrier market.  Back by popular demand, the exhibit floor will feature CCA’s Start-up Pavilion.  Participants will demonstrate innovative new products and will have the opportunity to meet with mobile carriers and connect with senior executives.  Start-ups also will compete in a “Meet the Start-ups” session with the opportunity to win a special prize package valued at over $10,000.

The pre-conference program includes two separate half-day seminars on Tuesday, March 27.  The Wireless Repair EXPO – the premier networking destination for professionals in the wireless repair community – will host its fifth annual event including an educational workshop, networking receptions and a special pavilion on the MCS show floor.  The Besen Group will host a seminar entitled, “The New Business Model: When Mobile, Fixed Wireless, Cable Satellite and Small Cells Converge,” which will share strategies, business models and key success factors to deliver a new customer experience in the converged ecosystem.
