New T-Mobile revealed its leadership line-up Thursday, one day after California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced he will not appeal the judge’s decision last month to reject the state AGs’ lawsuit against the T-Mobile-Sprint merger. According to a recent SEC filing, T-Mobile CEO John Legere and successor Mike Sievert named the team that will lead the company when its merger with Sprint Corp. closes as early as April 16. The line-up includes four Sprint executives and 14 executives from the old T-Mobile.

Sprint’s Deeanne King, Nestor Cano, Dow Draper, and John Saw will hold the following positions:

  • Deeanne King, Chief Human Resources Officer. The 30-year-plus Sprint employee also will have the title of Executive Vice President and report directly to Sievert.
  • Nestor Cano, COO, Executive Vice President of Integration and Transformation and a strategic adviser to Sievert.
  • Dow Draper, Executive Vice President of Emerging Products. Draper’s previous roles with Sprint included Chief Commercial Officer and leader of the carrier’s prepaid services.
  • John Saw, Executive Vice President of Advanced and Emerging Technologies will report to Neville Ray, President of Technology at T-Mobile and the New T-Mobile.

New T-Mobile’s finance team will be led by CFO Braxton Carter and includes Susan Loosmore, Executive Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. Joining Saw on Ray’s technology team will be Abdul Saad, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, and Cody Sanford, Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Product Officer.

Leading New T-Mobile’s business lines will be John Freier, Executive Vice President of Consumer Markets, Mike Katz, Executive Vice President of T-Mobile For Business, and Draper leading the emerging products line.

Corporate functional leaders include Matt Staneff, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Callie Field, Executive Vice President of Customer Care, Janice Kapner, Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, and Deeanne King, Chief HR Officer.

Continuing their current roles are Peter Ewens, Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development, and Dave Miller, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.

Overseeing T-Mobile and Sprint integration are Nestor Cano, EVP of Integration and Transformation and Jeremy Malasky, Senior Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief of Staff for Sievert.

Departures include Sunit Patel, who has led integration planning efforts, and David Carey, Executive Vice President of Corporate Services for T-Mobile, who will retire effective April 30.
