Bertram Communications LLC acquired six towers in Wisconsin from MidAmerica Towers, Inc. This adds to Bertram Internet’s network throughout the state by establishing sites in Custer, Brokaw, Poynette, Dewey Marsh, and Tomah. Terms of the deal were kept confidential.

“We are thrilled to add these sites to our portfolio and we are excited to do our part in expanding our internet backbone into these underserved areas of Wisconsin.

We believe that Wisconsin should be leading the pack in terms of rural internet, and we intend to make sure that happens,” said Bertram VP Operations Tim Wright.

Wright said Bertram has extensive plans for 2019 including, “executing grants awarded in Shawano and Oconto Counties, and finishing the expansion currently underway in Dodge, Winnebago, Columbia, and Jefferson counties.” The plans also include “keeping existing customers satisfied throughout the process,” he added.  Comments?
