NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association announced yesterday that it provided complimentary training sessions to more than 350 workers across the country in 2021. NATE’s 5G-Small Cell Deployment Training Courses were funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Susan Harwood Training Grant (SH-99035-SH0) for the 2020-2021 program year.
NATE’s 2021 5G-Small Cell Deployment Training Courses addressed fall prevention in the construction industry, with an emphasis on small cell deployment safety practices to keep workers safe while building and maintaining next generation wireless sites within high traffic areas near city roads and pedestrian pathways. The 2021 courses were taught at 13 different locations across the U.S., including Bloomington, MN; Tulsa, OK; Omaha, NE; Anchorage, AK; Indianapolis, IN; Salt Lake City, UT; Tampa, FL; Arlington, TX; Nashville, TN; Bellevue, WA; Denver, CO; Portland, ME; and Charleston, WV.
