National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) is encouraging companies and workers in the industry to make plans to participate in the organization’s Practical Exam Fest which will take place in conjunction with the NATE UNITE 2019 Conference on February 4-7, 2019, in Grapevine, Texas.

During the four-day event, NWSA will be administering practical examinations for workers to receive NWSA Telecommunications Tower Technician 1 (TTT-1) and Telecommunications Tower Technician 2 (TTT-2) credentials. The cost is $250 per exam and candidates will receive immediate pass/fail results.

“The NWSA Practical Exam Fest will provide a platform at NATE UNITE 2019 for companies to get their respective technicians NWSA certified all in one convenient location,” said Board of Governors member Kevin Schmidt from Sioux Falls Tower & Communications. “The timing of this NWSA offering is important as it is anticipated that NWSA certification requirements will continue to make their way into the Master Service Agreements of prominent companies in 2019,” added Schmidt.

“As NWSA certifications gain momentum and begin to reach scale in the marketplace, we are excited to partner with NATE in order to host this first-of-its-kind practical exam certification event,” stated Executive Director Duane MacEntee.
