Sixty-three Industry Employers and Employees Graduate from Training Course
On Tuesday, April 10, NATE hosted a Rigger Awareness Training Course at the JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles, California. The training was offered due to a Susan Harwood Training Grant (SH-31235-SH7) from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Department of Labor and was held prior to the start of the 2018 Wireless West Conference that is taking place at the same venue this week.
NATE announced that 63 industry employees and employers representing a large group of companies in the wireless infrastructure ecosystem graduated from the program. At the training event, Travis Ross from Pacific Safety Solutions was the trainer and NATE Wireless Industry Network (WIN) Pacific Region Ambassador Jesse Petrilla from Petrilla Technologies, LLC was the on-site administrative coordinator.
“NATE’s grant-enabled Rigger Awareness Training Sessions are an important component of the Association’s current workforce development initiatives and are providing free training and professional development opportunities for industry workers representing a diverse group of communities and stakeholders,” stated NATE WIN Pacific Region Ambassador Jesse Petrilla. “I offer my congratulations to the dedicated workers who graduated from this training program this week,” he added.
NATE is planning to facilitate upcoming Rigger Awareness Training sessions in Portland, Oregon; Malvern, Pennsylvania; Charlotte, North Carolina; Louisville, Kentucky; Detroit, Michigan; Lakewood, Colorado and Irving, Texas.
