In anticipation of fans filling seats this season, AT&T Stadium and ExteNet Systems are upgrading the antennas at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium. As the Daily News reports, the installation of twenty MatSing lens antennas will deliver strong 4G and 5G connections to those on the field and in the stands. Mounting the MatSing units on the roof is expected to provide better, clearer reception than the current system which ferries the signal between receivers under the seats.

“A smoother internet experience able to handle modern-day demands of streaming and social media sharing awaits Cowboys fans [and enthusiastic opponents] when they return to AT&T stadium,” stated Michael Matytsine, MatSing co-founder and EVP of Operations. “Even when the stadium is at full capacity, lens antennas will provide a smoother data experience with fewer interruptions for [football] fans who have embraced streaming and sharing as an intrinsic part of their stadium experience.”

“AT&T Stadium is the premier venue for sports and entertainment and we are excited to work with the Cowboys organization to ensure that fans have access to the most advanced technologies to enhance their experience,” said Executive Director for AT&T’s Sports and Entertainment group, Kevin Griffin.

“Operating the largest indoor DAS network in the United States at AT&T Stadium provides us a unique opportunity to enable the best possible fan experience at one of the NFL’s most iconic venues,” Rich Coyle, President & Interim CEO, ExteNet Systems told the Daily News. “We thank the Dallas Cowboys for trusting us with this opportunity, and MatSing for providing the clear winning technology for our mobile broadband needs.”
