The Structure, Tower and Antenna Council (STAC) announced Friday that TEAM-1 Academy is the third Full Conference Sponsor of the fourth annual STAC conference.

The annual STAC conference is the premier event dedicated to Canadian tower safety, bringing together more than 400 communications and tower industry professionals. STAC and its conference are devoted to sharing the important information and best practices that will help maintain Canada’s world-leading tower safety record and ensure the world-class wireless networks in every province and territory can be built and maintained safely.

“We are thrilled to have TEAM-1 Academy as a Full Sponsor,” said Keith Ranney, Co-Chair of STAC and National Director, Wireless Operations & Implementation for Bell Canada. “As Canada’s wireless carriers prepare for the arrival of 5G, and the billions that will need to be invested to deploy the new networks, support from qualified training companies like TEAM-1 Academy will help STAC members ensure this is done safely.”

“Having a well-respected safety training company like TEAM-1 Academy play such a prominent role in the conference is a tremendous sign of the positive work STAC is doing to promote safe practices,” said Clay Parchewsky, STAC Co-Chair and VP Health, Safety & Environment for WesTower Communications.

TEAM-1 Academy joins WesTower Communications and Wesbell Technologies as Full Conference Sponsors, as well as an ever-expanding list of STAC 2019 sponsors and exhibitors that now includes nearly 40 companies.

The STAC 2019 Conference & Exhibition will take place at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal, QC on April 24 and 25, and will feature two full days of discussion and presentations by industry leading thinkers on the most important issues in the Canadian tower industry, with a particular focus this year on looking forward to the world of 5G.
