As the owner/operator of Tower Ventures with just under a thousand tower sites around the U.S., William “Billy” Orgel knows a little about real estate. He isn’t stopping with towers, however. He has become a well known real estate developer in the area, who along with his son Benjamin, has restored many historic buildings throughout Memphis, according to the Daily Memphian.

His latest project is in The Snuff District, so-called by having been occupied by the 260,000 square foot American Snuff Factory that manufactured the specialized smokeless tobacco product.

The project will have 550 apartments; 75,000 square feet of office space; about 50 single-family homes and 15,000 square feet of retail space; and a river walk and park area the Memphian reported.
