The Tower Family Foundation today recognized the companies and organizations who have donated to the organization during the first two quarters of 2017.
Founding Donors ClearTalk Wireless and Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth headline the donor list by jointly contributing an additional $50,000 to the Tower Family Foundation in 2017.
“On behalf of ClearTalk Wireless and Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, we are excited to continue to provide support to tower industry workers and their families through our contributions to the Tower Family Foundation,” stated Don Evans, a telecommunications attorney at Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth. “The need is real and this financial assistance is available immediately to families in the aftermath of an industry-related accident or fatality situation,” added Evans.
Don Evans also serves as an advisor to the Tower Family Foundation and has a strong track record of philanthropy. Additionally, Evans’ accomplished background has led to speculation as a strong candidate to be appointed to a future open seat as a Commissioner on the FCC.

The 501(c)(3) non-profit Foundation has been established to help provide financial assistance to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on-the-job related activities that tower workers are involved in on a daily basis.
All contributions to the Tower Family Foundation are granted directly to eligible tower workers and/or their families to help assist them in paying for their immediate needs and related costs that occur in the aftermath of a post-accident or fatality situation. In 2016, the Foundation awarded $130,000 in direct financial assistance to affected families. In 2017, the Foundation has awarded $40,000 to workers and families to date. These generous contributions have been instrumental to the Tower Family Foundation’s success and are making an indelible impact by allowing the organization to fulfill its mission of taking care of tower workers and their families.
