Tower Systems Rebrand Launch and Ribbon Cutting Event on Tuesday

Tower Systems, a Watertown, SD-based tower installation, design and project management company, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony today celebrating their rebranding.

In attendance will be Senator John Thune, Congressman Dusty Johnson, FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, NATE President and CEO Todd Schlekeway, Watertown Mayor Sarah Caron and Tower Systems President and CEO Kari L. Carlson, along with representatives from Lake Area Technical College, and others. 

The Tower Systems “We Rise” Rebrand Launch & Ribbon Cutting Event will take place at 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. CDT at the company’s corporate headquarters at 17226 447th Avenue.  

The event will celebrate the heritage and history of Tower Systems as a South Dakota-based company and explain the direction its headed with the “We Rise” rebrand, highlight the prominent role South Dakota is playing advancing 5G and broadband deployment initiatives and announce the exciting new Telecommunications Tower Technician Apprenticeship Program at Lake Area Technical College. 

The mayor of Watertown will proclaim May 4 “Bill Carlson Day” in honor of the founder of Tower Systems, who passed away in 2019.
