The Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and policy updates from Washington, D.C. will be a major focus of Competitive Carriers Association’s (CCA) 2020 Mobile Carriers Show (MCS), taking place March 30-April 1, in Dallas. MCS is jam-packed with educational sessions, networking events, and opportunities to meet with industry peers and attracts more competitive carrier executives than any other industry event. It is the place to make connections with key industry influencers.

Ken Meyers, president & CEO of U.S. Cellular will take the stage for a keynote fireside chat with CCA President/CEO Steve Berry on Wednesday, April 1. Meyers will share his thoughts and insight from one of the largest competitive wireless carriers in the nation during his first keynote address before the CCA audience. CCA also will welcome keynote speakers from the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, Ericsson, Nokia, and Interop Technologies.

For the first time, leading industry analyst Iain Gillott, president & founder of iGR, will lead an interactive breakfast discussion focused on 5G. Gillott will present research and opinions that provide answers and solutions to the most perplexing next-generation challenges identified by CCA’s carrier members. All attendees are welcome.

In addition to the interactive breakfast, MCS offers a number of unique educational opportunities including a day-long Agent Summit hosted by Corporate Dynamics on Monday, March 30. Geared towards independent agent (dealer) owners and managers and carrier account managers, “Improving Agent Performance: Your Road to Increasing Sales & Profit,” will provide attendees with the strategies and tools to help agents and companies become more engaged and more profitable. Award Solutions returns to host a complimentary two-part training session, March 31, on the foundations of 5G and key considerations for deploying VoLTE.

The show floor will feature industry innovators showcasing the latest technologies and services. With extended exhibit hall hours, there is ample time to visit the floor, check out new products, and meet with industry visionaries. The Start-Up Pavilion is returning, as well as the Sales & Profit Pavilion, where companies will present products and services aimed at creating profitable, new income opportunities.
