On the heels of NATE Unite in Grapevine, Texas, Vertical Limit promoted Brian Bicknese to Vice President of Safety & Training. The company said throughout his 20-year wireless career, he’s displayed “unparalleled dedication” to improving workplace and climber safety.

Bicknese is a recognized fall protection and rigging subject matter expert and chairs the contractor’s group of the TIF climbing facilities working group. He’s also a liason, working with TIRAP, TIA and NWSA to facilitate consistency between these groups for the industry.

Vertical Limit President Steve Roessler says getting people home safely to their families is Bicknese’s number one priority. “Not only is Brian a subject matter expert, he is extremely creative and a problem solver. That combination has been vital to the success of our operations and safety performance. I am lucky to have the opportunity to learn from Brian daily and it is a real honor to have him represent Vertical Limit on numerous committees that are focused on raising the bar for the entire industry.”

Bicknese has also been involved in the development of Planning Advisory Notices for the industry that involve the proper installation, maintenance, care and planning on telecommunication sites.

Bicknese is a member of the OSHA relations subcommittee for NATE, ANSI/ASSP A10.48 committee, TIF contractor chair, a subject matter expert for NWSA TTT1, TTT2, foreman, antenna and line specialty, and participates on workforce development for TIRAP.
