The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) hired Kate Forscey as Director of Legislative Affairs and Amy-Gabrielle Bartolac as Public Affairs Manager.
“Forscey’s knowledge of wireless issues and her nearly ten years of working with Congress will serve her well in advocating for the interests of WIA members,” said WIA President/CEO Jonathan Adelstein. “She will represent our members effectively on Capitol Hill as she advocates for WIA’s legislative agenda.
Kate’s experience working on a variety of technology and telecommunications issues will serve the WIA membership well.”
Prior to joining WIA, Forscey was Senior Technology Policy Advisor for Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and was previously policy counsel for Public Knowledge.
Bartolac, meanwhile, comes to WIA from the American Bakers Association, where she was Marketing and Communications Manager.
Adelstein credited Bartolac as understanding the connection between communications and advocacy. “We look forward to her strengthening WIA’s media visibility and thought leadership. With her extensive trade association experience, she will carry the wireless infrastructure industry’s message to the media, Congress, and stakeholders on behalf of WIA members,” he said.
