Women of NATE to Have Heightened Presence at NATE UNITE 2017

The Women of NATE (WON) Committee will host a Meet and Greet, an inaugural 5K Fun Run/Walk, and an Educational Session with three female leaders of the telecommunications industry at NATE UNITE 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Join Women of NATE and learn what WON is all about at the Meet and Greet on Monday, February 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Findley’s Irish Pub. Desserts will be provided and attendees will have the opportunity to have their photo taken in front of the NATE logo wall. Stick around for the NATE UNITE Monday Night Reception beginning at 6 p.m. to reacquaint with your NATE family.

On Tuesday, February 20, Women of NATE will host the first 5K Fun Run/Walk in NATE UNITE history. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the walk/run starts at 7 a.m. (advanced registration is encouraged). The course will go around the Gaylord Opryland grounds. Attendees are reminded to pack your running/walking shoes and appropriate climate gear. 

For the second year, Women of NATE will host an Educational Session featuring three female leaders of the telecommunications industry. This year’s speakers include Heather Gastelum, Senior Manager of National Tower Safety and Operations for T-Mobile; Danielle Meyers, Tower Lighting Technician for MillerCo, Inc.; and Jeanne Piercey, Director of Operations and Secretary-Treasurer for Pier Structural Engineering Corp. This panel will be moderated by WON Committee Chairwoman, Andy Page Lee and will offer valuable insight into women’s leadership roles in this industry.
