Aaron Goldberger is returning to the Office of FCC Chairman Ajit Pai as acting wireless and international advisor. He replaces Rachael Bender, who is transferring to the International Bureau.

Goldberger was most recently Associate Bureau Chief of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and Deputy Director of the Rural Broadband Auction Task Force. “I’m grateful Aaron has agreed to return to the Chairman’s office in this role,” said Chairman Pai. “The Commission is moving fast to execute an aggressive wireless strategy—including ensuring U.S. leadership in 5G—and I know Aaron’s experience in this area will be invaluable.”

Chairman Pai also thanked Bender for her work: “Rachael has been essential to laying the foundation for our wireless agenda and America’s leadership in the deployment of 5G since day one of my chairmanship.”
