Responding to the recent Workforce Development letter to Congress and the White House sent by a coalition of the wireless industry, service and equipment providers have voiced their support. One such supplier, Ronin Revolution Corporation, said it will donate a free powered rope ascender to a university or technical training house that currently is training future at-height workers for a career in telecom.
“The team at Ronin is ready to help,” said company Co-Founder Bryant Bertrand. “We’ve established our ‘Educate to Elevate’ program to help train future workers to meet the imminent challenges of the infrastructure needs of this great nation.”
Bertrand said the power ascender can help trainers and climbers in the following areas:
- Increased worker safety
- Eliminate physical barriers to entry for new climbers
- Career longevity
- Lessen the impact of on-the-job fatigue
- Increased efficiency
