Job Title:      Project Coordinator
Reports To:                Director(s) of Deployment,  Eco-Site
Department/Location:        Durham, NC

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator will be primarily responsible for tracking, reporting, document management, populating, and maintaining of tower development projects within the company processes and policies through designated software programs.  More specifically, this position will be asked to enter database milestones, and run database reports in both internal and external programs as directed by the Project Manager(s), or Director(s) of Deployment.  Primary responsibilities also include preparing, receiving, reviewing, organizing, and filing tower development documents and closeout packages.  Additional responsibilities include developing a thorough knowledge of site-specific tasks and documents necessary to deploy a site from search ring to project completion.  The Coordinator is required to work efficiently across multiple internal departments as well as with external sub-contractors, vendors, and occasionally the carriers themselves.  Additional administrative tasks may include generating PO requisitions forms, copying documents, creating Excel-based trackers, and operating proficiently in MS Office.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and coordinate tower development projects from search ring through project milestones to construction completion
Receive, review, scan, organize, and file in a timely manner all internal & external documentation required to take a site from search ring to construction completion
Prepare, process, order and receive required tower development documents including purchase order requisitions, vendor qualifications and agreements, site punch lists, closeout packages, etc.; ensuring completeness, accuracy, and correct approval signature(s) are present
Continually expand and develop knowledge regarding site acquisition, due diligence, design, and construction associated with tower development
Participate with other company staff in project and process reviews to provide ongoing improvement to company processes
Work closely with and develop strong working relationships with other internal departments and external contractors/customers facilitating the overall tower development process
Participate in deployment meetings
Assist in the development of tracking & reporting tools and IT requirements to track and monitor tower development
Perform other tasks as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior knowledge and experience in the wireless industry required
Strong organization skills
Ability to adapt to and learn new software programs quickly
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Ability to take direction from multiple sources
Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
Present willingness to perform tasks beyond standard goals and objectives
Be willing to travel
Safe driving record and own transportation
Valid driver’s license
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required, minimum 3- 5 years of work experience in wireless site development
College degree preferred or equivalent experience
Understanding of web based project and document systems preferred
