The fourth meeting of the FCC’s Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee is slated for January 23-24, at the agency’s headquarters. The BDAC will consider reports and recommendations from its working groups. Those include model code for municipalities, model code for states, competitive access to broadband infrastructure, removing state and local regulatory barriers, and streamlining federal siting. In addition, the BDAC will continue discussing how to accelerate broadband deployment by reducing and/or removing regulatory barriers to infrastructure investment.
