The Fiber Broadband Association yesterday announced that seven of its members have recently received All Fiber Certification. The accreditation is given to Fiber Broadband Association members who demonstrate a high-level of strategic commitment to all fiber deployment by ensuring 90 percent or more of their networks rely on fiber optic infrastructure.
With these seven new certifications, there are now 22 Fiber Broadband Association member network providers that are certified as All Fiber in North America. The growing list demonstrates an increased commitment from the broadband industry to leverage fiber as the best way to future-proof connectivity and digital equity across North America.
The most recent All Fiber Certification recipients include:
- Centranet (Stillwater, OK)
- empower, Delivered by Craighead Electric (Jonesboro, AR)
- Holland Board of Public Works (Holland, MI)
- MAW Communications Inc. (Reading, PA)
- South Hadley Electric Light Department (South Hadley, MA)
- Velocity.Net Communications (Erie, PA)
- West Wisconsin Telcom Cooperative (Downsville, WI)
“The All Fiber network operators we announced today is still just the beginning—we know many additional members are working diligently to advance their own fiber deployments. While we are eager to award them with the All Fiber Certification, it is more noteworthy to know they are connecting their communities to the high-performance broadband and limitless opportunities that only fiber can deliver,” said Gary Bolton, President and CEO at the Fiber Broadband Association.
