Last night was Music Movement’s 2nd Annual Charity concert, featuring top country artist Josh Turner, Billy Dawson and the Wireless All-Stars. Once again, Music Movement has hosted its concert in conjunction with WIA and the Wireless Infrastructure Show, and with the generous contribution of Title Sponsor, Vertical Bridge.

The goal of Music Movement is to positively impact the lives of young people with autism and other learning differences by developing and funding music-centric programs such as therapy and unique experiences.

Last night’s show honored guests including David Fomin and Kyle Baker. David Fomin will be the recipient of a scholarship for a year’s worth of music therapy. The Fomin family lives in Boca Raton which is also headquarters to Vertical Bridge. It was through a chance encounter with his father that his story was discovered by the Music Movement team.

Kyle Baker’s mother and therapist both reached out to Music Movement when they heard that Josh Turner was performing at the charity show. Kyle is a young man who has autism and is prone to seizures. About ten years ago, his family determined that the tone of Josh Turner’s voice was one of the few things that could calm him down during outbursts.

This 2nd annual concert represents significant growth for the charity, as attendance has skyrocketed from around 350 to north of 800 guests. “We are overjoyed that so many members of the wireless industry have chosen to join us on this special night, and are beyond thankful for the support of our sponsors,” said Music Movement.
