Peppertree Capital Commits $20M to NexTower Development Group, LLC

Peppertree Capital Management, Inc. and Dave Boeff, President and CEO of NexTower Development Group, announced the closing of a $20 million equity commitment to NexTower. Based in Saint Johns, Florida, NexTower will focus on build-to-suits, site specific development, tower acquisitions, wireless revenue acquisitions and marketing of properties conducive to tower development throughout the United States. “The need for additional wireless infrastructure throughout the US continues to grow substantially,” said Dave Boeff, President and CEO of NexTower. “Peppertree’s investment will allow us to address the needs of the wireless carriers as they further enhance their networks.” Peppertree Managing Director Ryan Lepene commented “Dave is a seasoned industry veteran with a 35-year track record in the tower industry. We are extremely excited to partner with him as he develops a tower portfolio throughout the US.” Boeff formed his first tower development company, Gator Tower Management, in 1994; and in the first quarter of 1997, he co-founded TowerCom’s Florida and South Georgia companies. At TowerCom he held positions of Vice President, Executive Vice President and became the overall company CEO in 2007. During David’s tenure at TowerCom the company developed and built over 400 new tower builds for cellular/PCS carriers, state and local government and broadcast entities. NexTower was founded on February 2014 and provides service to all areas of the broadband communications industry.
