QualTek, a provider of turnkey solutions, including engineering, installation, fulfillment and program management to the North American telecommunications and power sectors, named Raj Beri as the new President of Empire Telecom, the wireless division of QualTek. He brings more than 30 years of wireless industry experience to QualTek, where he will focus on expanding the company’s growth initiatives and ensuring QualTek’s future success. Beri will report to Empire Telecom’s CEO, Kevin Doran.
“Raj brings a wealth of executive experience to our team and perfectly fits our company culture,” Doran said. “He will fill an important leadership position as we grow to meet increasing demand from our wireless customers and partners.”
Previously, Beri held senior roles across the wireless industry, including Regional Vice President of the Northeast Region for AT&T and Vice President and General Manager of North American Field Operations for Nokia. After helping Clearwire introduce its WiMax Network from 2009-2011, Beri spent the last several years launching several small service providers including Celcite, which was acquired by Amdocs.
