Residents Might Not be so Pleasant

Residents in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, are upset about a possible 130-foot tower that could be built near their neighborhood, Rivertowne. The aesthesis of the tower are the main concern of residents as they believe it will “mar the neighborhood view.” They think if they make their opposition known, the project will go away. However, the project is still in the developmental phase, according to Keith Powers of Optima Towers. There is an informational meeting regarding the project on March 25, but it’s just an exploratory meeting between the tower company and residents. No formal application has been submitted, but Powers believes the concealed tower will blend in nicely with the trees surrounding the area.
