Tilson’s Tim Schneider Named to FCC’s BDAC

Network deployment and IT professional services firm Tilson said that its General Counsel Tim Schneider, was recently appointed by FCC Chairman Ajit Pai to serve on the agency’s Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee’s (BDAC) Increasing Broadband Investment in Low-Income Communities working group.

The working group is led by Chair Tom Ferree, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Connected Nation and Vice Chair Claude Aiken, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association. Schneider will join 17 panel members to recommend best practices for states and localities to develop recommendations on how to accelerate the deployment of high-speed internet access to low-income communities.
