In Newfane, Vermont, a construction firm installing a cell tower will make repairs to Steepway Road after residents complained about its condition. According to the Commons News, Roads Foreman and Selectboard Chair Todd Lawley said workers from a firm installing AT&T’s cell tower on Newfane Hill “took it upon themselves to haul stone, fill our ditches in, and leave a bunch of stone in the road.” Lawley then asked the administrative assistant to write a letter to the company installing the structure to, and the state, asking them to fix it. The company wrote back saying they would be back this week to fix the road.
