Tower Engineering Professionals (TEP) announced the acquisition of the Massachusetts-based engineering and architectural firm, Hudson Design Group (HDG).

TEP is an international telecom engineering firm that provides turn-key construction and engineering services throughout North America. With the acquisition of HDG, TEP is now over 1,000 employees strong with more than 30 offices stretching from coast to coast and beyond the U.S. border.

Founded in 2002, HDG brings uniquely diverse skills and capabilities to TEP, offering multi-dimensional views for any project, including design, development, and a full range of project management resources. HDG provides leading-edge services throughout the New England area that align with TEP’s existing and upcoming service lines.

“The team that Dan and Sharyn Hamm have built in the Northeast is truly amazing. With such a motivated and progressive culture, we knew HDG would fit perfectly into the TEP family,” said TEP CEO Andy Haldane.

Dan Hamm, Principal, HDG said, “We are excited to be part of Tower Engineering Professionals and their global reach. We look forward to expanding our services across their footprint, while also expanding their service lines to the Northeast. It was important to Sharyn and I that we join a group that had a similar culture and work ethic to Hudson Design Group.”

The demands of emerging technologies and an ever-growing industry paves the path for the two companies to improve and expand their service offerings, allowing for a stronger presence in the engineering and telecom markets, according to the companies.
