Crew Supervisor:

As a Crew Supervisor you will be responsible for managing a crew of 2 to 5 tower technicians performing all aspects of tower construction and maintenance throughout the United States under a variety of weather conditions. This includes the safe installation and maintenance of all tower types, gin pole experience and advanced rigging preferred. Accurate installation of all types of antennas per RF specifications, MW pathing, coax and fiber installation, sweeping/PIM/Fiber to customer specifications, installation of tower lights (beacon/strobe), tower grounding, plumb and tensioning, troubleshoot and resolve tower maintenance/emergency issues, conduct tower audits and mapping.

Your Core Responsibilities as a Crew Supervisor:

  • Must have a certified competent climber/rescue card by an accredited trainer, proof of completion of OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour Course, CPR/First Aid Training, RF Awareness NWSA TTT1, TTT2
  • Anritsu, PIM, Fiber Certified
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision while supervising crew
  • Must be of good character; dependable and honest, a self-starter and a motivator, result-oriented and a team leader
  • Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
  • Responsible for company provided vehicle, trailer, boom truck, ATV, tools, miscellaneous tools, equipment and supplies
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret construction drawings, blue prints, tower assembly drawings, and RF Data Sheets
  • Must comply with and enforce company and industry safety standards
  • Must be in good physical condition with stamina, ability to lift over 80 pounds and climb structures as high as 500’. Must be able to pass DOT/Medical Physical
  • Proficient in all principals of rigging and knot tying
  • Proficient in all disciplines of Gin Pole procedures
  • Competent in the operation and proper use of Winches, Capstan Hoist and JLG. NCCCO Crane Operator Certified
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; “Class A” CDL preferred
  • Attention to detail in site completion forms, close-outs, photo logs and weekly paperwork
  • Willingness to travel extensively, nationally and internationally; passport required
  • Eligible to work in U.S. Must speak, read, and write English fluently
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

Top Hand Tower Technician:

As a Top Hand, you must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions from crew supervisor and work cohesively with all crew members. Assist in the construction and maintenance of all types of towers, proper installation methods of antennas and MW dishes, coax/fiber, jumpers, connectors, grounding systems, lights, and troubleshooting skills.

Your Core Responsibilities as a Top Hand Tower Technician:

  • Must have a certified competent climber/rescue card by an accredited trainer, proof of completion of OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid Training, RF Awareness NWSA TTT1, TTT2 preferred
  • Must be of good character; dependable and honest, a self-starter and a motivator, result-oriented and a good team member
  • Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Proficient in rigging and knot tying
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Your Core Responsibilities as a Top Hand Tower Technician continued:

  • Must be in good physical condition with stamina, ability to lift over 80 pounds and climb structures as high as 500’. Must be able to pass DOT/Medical Physical
  • Must comply with company and industry safety standards and best practices (100% hook-off)
  • Willingness to travel extensively, nationally and internationally; passport required
  • Eligible to work in U.S. Must speak, read, and write English fluently
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
