A man working on a tower in New Carlisle, IN, was shocked by a live wire and airlifted to Memorial Hospital on Wednesday evening, according to WNDU-TV. Police say the injured man is John Richardson, 24, of Michigan City and an employee of Surf Air Wireless. “What first responders found when they arrived on scene was a man who was injured and hanging from his safety harness about 25 feet in the air on a tower,” said St. Joseph County Police Asst. Chief Bill Thompson (WNDU-TV). A neighbor told the news outlet that one other worker was near the tower’s base when Richardson was shocked.
