On Wednesday afternoon, a tower worker became stuck on a 300’ tower located in Bracken County, Kentucky, reports WCPO Cincinnati. According to Deputy Sheriff Chris Shields, it’s believed the worker suffered heat exhaustion while on the tower.
Despite drinking four bottles of Gatorade, four bottles of Propel and six bottles of water, the man still managed to suffer from heat exhaustion, Harold Finley of the Columbia Pipeline told WCPO.
Another worker, who was also on the tower, was able to rescue the man and help him descend the 300’ tower, which took about 25 minutes. It is believed the rescuer was also suffering from heat exhaustion.
