Travis Litman re-joined law firm Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP (WBK) as a partner in the Washington, D.C. office, according to the company. Litman was most recently Acting Chief of Staff to the FCC, and served for many years as Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to then Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel.

WBK says Litman brings insights into the priorities of this Administration’s communications policy and played a key role in top FCC initiatives including emergency funding, universal service, broadband mapping, and enforcement. He was also Counsel to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, building long standing relationships and expertise with key Congressional offices and committees. Prior to his government service, Litman built his early legal career at WBK.

“For more than a decade, Travis has been at the forefront of every major communications policy issue facing the country,” said Wilkinson Managing Partner Bryan Tramont. “We welcome his deep expertise in both the substance and the processes that our clients must navigate every day. His drive, strategic vision, and values will build a valuable part of the firm’s future.”
