Vertical Bridge announced that its philanthropic arm, the Vertical Bridge Charitable Network (VBCN), has donated over $1.25 million to more than 100 non-profit organizations around the country, a nearly 30 percent increase in donations from 2017.

Since Vertical Bridge’s founding four years ago, VBCN has donated more than $3.1 million. The 2018 contributions exceeded VBCN’s goal this year by more than $50,000, thanks in large part to its employee matching program. Vertical Bridge employees’ participation in other VBCN initiatives also increased to record highs, including utilizing more than 1,000 hours of paid time off to give back to a charitable cause of their choice. Employees also organized over 30 VBCN-sponsored events throughout their communities nationwide.

“Philanthropy has been a pillar of Vertical Bridge since we started in 2014, and we’ve worked hard to maintain it as an integral part of our culture as we’ve grown the company,” said Alex Gellman, CEO and co-founder of Vertical Bridge. “2018 was an extremely exciting year for Vertical Bridge, and to have a record year for VBCN, especially one driven by employee participation, is truly icing on the cake.”
