National Wireless Ventures organized this install for AT&T at the four-day Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago. The event, which typically draws about 250,000 people a day, began Thursday and ended yesterday. National Wireless Ventures CEO Bob Stapleton calls it “Woodstock with organization.”

He told Inside Towers in an interview, the temporary deployment included telecom equipment for 3G (UMTS), 4G LTE, C-RAN, FirstNet and LAA on 5GHz. Stapleton’s company managed the process, while Fulton Technologies was responsible for installing the equipment. Stevenson Crane assisted with the install as well.
