The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau posted a reminder for all signal booster manufactures regarding their compliance date of March 1, 2014. The Public Notice read, “On February 20, 2013, the Commission adopted new technical, operational, and registration requirements for signal boosters in order to enhance wireless coverage for consumers, particularly in rural, underserved, and difficult-to-serve areas, while ensuring that boosters do not adversely affect wireless networks. Pursuant to our new rules, on or after March 1, 2014, all signal boosters – Consumer and Industrial – sold and marketed in the United States must meet our new requirements for such devices.”
