With the exponential rise in wireless data use, in-building DAS solutions will prove essential in meeting data demands. One company—Strategic Venue Partners—recently announced its plans to provide wireless infrastructure solutions for enterprise in-building DAS.
In particular, Strategic Venue Partners will focus on those sectors of the enterprise market that are underserved—both major and mid-sized enterprises and real estate assets. It also discussed the company’s capacity to provide end-to-end DAS solutions, including consulting, design, engineering, construction and ongoing maintenance of wireless systems, especially in venues related to the medical, entertainment, and educational industries, it said in a press release.
The company is financially backed by Tiger Infrastructure Partners LP, a mid-market private equity firm that focuses on growing wireless infrastructure platforms. Strategic Venue Partners has also forged several relationships with companies in the wireless industry to help with their entrance into the in-building DAS sector.
“It’s exhilarating to be part of starting a new company in an industry where there is a clear market demand for our expertise and business model,” said Strategic Venue Partners’ Co-Founder Rich Grimes. “Today, the wireless telecommunications industry is dramatically shifting as a result of the evolution of wireless technology, carriers’ business strategies and user demands. We have assembled industry-leading resources, including strategic relationships, to innovate in-building wireless infrastructure for venues and enterprises.”
